My basement closets are bulging with canvases: some finished and lots unfinished and awaiting a creative spark. There are even some that when my mother looks at them she thinks I’ve started day drinking.
My daughter built this website so that I could keep track of all of those creative projects. She has convinced me that I should record my art journey and not just throw stuff in piles and move on to the next project.
I retired from a 38-year elementary school teaching career three years ago and have begun to play with my art more and more. I do a lot of art projects with my 87-year-old mom who is both inspiring and downright impossible to keep up with. I will be talking a lot about our time together in this blog.
